We can put graphics on almost anything

Screen Printing

Screen printing, also known as silkscreen printing, is mainly a decoration for apparel or surfaces. We frame the screen in position over the garment or item to print, and a thick layer of ink is then applied to the product.

Then we place the garment on a conveyor belt through a heat tunnel to cure the print. Screen printing does not crack, fade or peel, and will last the life of the garments.

Embroidery

Embroidery is an elegant and stylish way to decorate or personalize any garment or embroidery-friendly item. The digitized image is saved on a disk and loaded to the embroidery machine. The machine uses digital instructions to create your design with threads.

Digitizing is the process of taking an image of your logo and converting it into stitches using specialized software developed especially for the embroidery industry. At Ricart, we also offer specialized embroidery techniques such as Puff Embroidery, Appliqué, Reverse Appliqué, Wool Stitch Effect, Pattern Fill, Patches, Sublimated Patches, and combinations of embroidery with other processes.

Patches on Hats & Toques

Patches are a stylish and durable way to add branding to hats and toques, offering a professional look that stands out. At Ricart, we specialize in custom patch applications, using high-quality materials like embroidered, woven, leather, or sublimated patches to match your brand's aesthetic.

Whether you're outfitting a corporate team, launching merch, or gifting promo items, patches create a bold statement with texture and dimension. Applied with precision and care, they’re long-lasting and ideal for both indoor and outdoor wear. Elevate your headwear with custom patches that turn everyday accessories into walking billboards for your brand.

Direct to Film (DTF printing)

Direct to Film (DTF) Printing is a cutting-edge decoration method that allows for vibrant, high-resolution graphics to be transferred directly onto apparel.

Ideal for detailed, full-color designs, DTF printing uses a special film and powder adhesive to create durable, flexible prints that can be applied to a wide range of fabrics, including cotton, polyester, and blends.

Unlike traditional screen printing, DTF is perfect for smaller runs and complex artwork without the need for setup screens, making it a cost-effective and versatile option for custom apparel. Whether you're producing bold logos, intricate illustrations, or photographic prints, DTF ensures a soft hand feel with long-lasting results.

Heat Transfer

Heat pressing uses heat and pressure to attach a coloured or printed vinyl material onto fabric permanently. It is excellent for items that need personalization (such as team uniforms) and small runs where screen printing isn’t practical or cost-effective.

We use premium quality vinyl to minimize the feel of the vinyl while still producing the desired colour and brightness. We offer two types of vinyl heat pressing; one way is standard cut vinyl available in an assortment of colours, the second is white vinyl with the artwork printed and a custom cut around the edge of the design.

Laser Etching

Simply put, laser etching is a process whereby a laser burns away the surface of a substrate to create a permanent marking. Laser etching does not add colour to the fabric. It is the scorch that gives the design colour.

Most materials burn several shades darker than the original fabric colour. Because of this, the mid-range coloured garments usually show off laser etching best. In addition, the laser can be used for hard-to-decorate locations, such as sleeve edges or collars.

Laser etching can create a unique presentation of a logo that's difficult to counterfeit.
